HENDERSON-Loretta Gail Lewis Williams, 75, a resident of N. Clearview Drive, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Maria Parham Health.Born on June 26, 1945 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Lewis and Nannie Fitts Lewis, and was the widow of Alfred Larry "Al" Williams.Loretta was a former Manager of the bakery at Food Lion.She was a member of Freedom Life Church of God for more than 35 years and served as the Clerk.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Freedom Life Church of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by one son, D. C. Williamson (Lisa) of the home; one daughter Audrey Lynn Falkner (Rob) of Henderson: two grandchildren, Justin Burr and financee, Justine, and Chance Williamson; and her faithful companion Angel.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Rae Barker; and one brother, Rod Lewis.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Freedom Life Church of God.At other times they will be at her home at 1834 N. Clearview Drive.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Darkside M.C.
Those attending the service are asked to wear appropriate face coverings and to observe social distancing.
