HENDERSON- Louis Samuel "Sam" Tuck, 71, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Durham VA Health Care.Born in Granville County on August 14, 1949, he was the son of the late Lawrence Hoover Tuck and Glinnie Mae Winters Tuck. Sam was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam.He was a mechanic and retired from Americal and was a member of Freedom Life Church of God.Sam enjoyed his time spent working with horses, and especially had a love for his Tennessee Walking Horses.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Mangum Tuck of the home; a son, David Louis Tuck, and wife, Jamie of Henderson; a daughter, Angela Nicole Tuck of Henderson; four grandchildren, Chase Fulghum, Chance Spence, Kyndal Tuck and Levi Tuck; a brother, Billy Tuck of Raleigh; a sister, Carolyn Satterwhite of Henderson; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Rev. Jeff Prewer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Stanton; and three brothers, Lawrence Tuck, Jr., Cliff Tuck, and Ronnie Tuck.
