HENDERSON-Mildred Lucille Parham Mooring, age 88, a resident of 915 Abbott Street, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at her home.Born on December 13, 1923 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Marion Oliver Parham and Elizabeth Poythress Parham.She was a retired Registered Nurse from the hospital in Roanoke Rapids , and was a member of Gillburg United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Calvin Dickenson.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Robert K. Mooring of the home; one daughter, Patricia Lee Mooring of Henderson; and one son, Michael Wayne Mooring of Henderson.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph J. Parham, Mayland O. Parham and Edgar Thomas Parham.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 915 Abbott Street.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Wade Moss, Carlton Edwards, Chris Parham, Richard Bender, Wayne Edwards, and Daniel Ayscue.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
