M. Dianne Ellis Moss

HENDERSON- Dianne Ellis Moss, 69, of Southerland Mill Road, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at her home. Born October 11, 1955 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Helen Rebecca “Becky” Ellis Jones and James “Putt” Ellis. Heaven gained an Angel on December 11th. Dianne was a kind loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She was always there for her children, she loved them unconditionally. Her children were her LIFE and she was their ANGEL. Dianne was full of life. She had the biggest smile that would light up a room and a heart of gold that shined so bright. She loved to laugh and joke. She was a strong willed and determined person. Dianne never complained. She faced each day with a smile as she would want her family to do even though she is no longer with us. Dianne is survived by her four children, Jamie Moss (Tracy) of Henderson, Tal Moss of California, Ashlei Moss (Deb) of Garner and Joshua Moss (Heather) of Henderson; two grandchildren, Courtney Moss (John) and Maddison Moss; two great grandchildren, Jaxon “Jax” Ellington and Avery Ellington; a sister, Betty Jo Ellis Bickel (George) of Wake Forest; a brother, James Donald Ellis (Lois) of Henderson; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Serving as pallbearers will be Jay Ellis, Spencer Ellis, Leland Pendergrass, Tony Pendergrass, Robert Newton, Tony Newton, Shane Ellis and Dale Dunn. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Jeff Prewer at Liberty Christian Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at 2930 Old County Home Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
