HENDERSON-Mae Frances Allen, age 74, a resident of 1225 Rock Mill Road, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Durham Regional Hospital.Born on January 26, 1940 in Aiken SC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee Robinson and Betty Childs, and was the widow of James Edward Allen.
She was a retired binder for American Bank Note Co. in New York.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 3 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel.
She is survived by four daughters, Wanda Mims Cruz of Henderson, Natalie Jones and Tracy Mitchell both of New York, New York, and Grace Perkinson of Midlothian, VA; one son, Nathaniel Mims of Manhattan, NY; one sister, Sandra Daniels of New York, New York; three brothers, Laron Folks and Bruce Folks of Columbia, SC and Steven Folks of Alabama; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
