Mae Radford Abbott Bailey

HENDERSON-Mae Radford Abbott Bailey, age 91, a resident of 1245 Park Avenue, and a former resident of 176 Vicksboro Road, died Friday, January 11, 2013, in a local nursing home.
Born in Franklin County on May 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Abbott and Lucy Mosley Abbott.Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker anda member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2:30 PM at Sunset Gardens by Minister Thomas Ball and Minister Jimmie McNeil.
She is survived by one daughter, Bertie Bumgarner of Warrenton; two sons, Eddie D. Bailey of Richmond, VA, and Tony Newson of Henderson; one sister, Mildred Hale of Henderson; two grandchildren, Tina Bumgarner Bryant and Troy Dean Bumgarner; three great grandchildren, Ashley Game Jones, Emily Jo Bumgarner, and John David Bumgarner; and two great great grandchildren, Haley Michele Jones and William Gregory Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ed Bailey.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens.
