Magdalene Hayes Jackson

Magdalene Hayes Jackson, age 80, a resident of 1022 Standish Street, died Friday, February 10, 2012, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Granville County on October 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Dollie Hayes and Alma Hayes Hayes.
Mrs. Jackson was a former telephone operator in Durham and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Franklin County.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Robert Kelley.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Proctor of Chapel Hill; one brother, David Hayes of Henderson; one granddaughter; and one great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Elmwood Cemetery.
