Margaret Bennett Adcox, 97, a resident of Dabney Drive, died Thursday, July 30, 2020, in a local nursing home.
Born on February 15, 1923 in Danville Va.she was the daughter of the late Jodie Parrish Bennett and F. L. Bennett and was the widow of James Roby Adcox, Jr.Mrs. Adcox was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A private graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Adcox Campbell (Keith) of Henderson; one son, James Earl Adcox (Rebecca) of Henderson; three grandchildren Katrina Stokes (David), James Forrest Smith (Rita), and Marc Adcox; one step grandchild, Amanda C. Phillips (Michael); seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 905 Americal Road, Henderson, N C 27537.
