NORLINA- Margaret Ann Lane Guill, 84, of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, died Thursday, November 05, 2020 at her home.Born in Granville County on April 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William Wyatt Lane and Vallie Boyd Lane and the widow of Donald Ray Guill.She was retired from Durham Drapery Company and was a faithful member of Gospel Independent Baptist Church until her health declined.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Gospel Independent Baptist Church by Pastor Robert Greene, Jr.
Mrs. Guill is survived by a daughter, Brenda McGee of the home; three sons, Mike Moss (Peggy) of Henderson, Henry Moss of the home, and Joel Moss (Barbara) of Henderson; three sisters, Jerry Dickerson of Oxford,Bonnie Ayscue of Kittrell, and Velma Daeke (Larry) of Henderson; three brothers, Grady Lane of Kittrell, Garland Lane (Barbara) of Oxford, and Kenneth Lane (Beverly) of Oxford; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Moss and Nathan Moss; and two brothers, Earl Lane and Charles Lane.
The family will receive friends following the service at Gospel Independent Baptist on Monday and at other times at the home.
