Margaret Hicks Hunt

HENDERSON-Margaret Jo Hicks Hunt, 67, a resident of Eastern Blvd. died Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Maria Parham Health. Born in Franklin County on October 25, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Frank Ford Hicks, Jr. and Mary Helen Prewer Hicks. Mrs. Hunt was an Inspector at the former Americal Corp. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Daniel Blasky. She is survived by two daughters, Mary “Missy” Gore (Aaron) of Durham and Samantha Hunt of Henderson; one son, Harold Duke Hunt, III of Norlina; one brother, Sammy Hicks (Regina) of Henderson; and one granddaughter, Alissa Lagos and husband, Erick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hunt; a sister, Helen “Faye” Champion; and two brothers, James “Jimmy” Hicks and Frank Hicks, III. The family will receive friends prior to the service at J.M. White Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to J. M.
