HENDERSON- Margaret Medlin Williams, age 67, a resident of 2121 Francis Avenue died Friday, February 08, 2013 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on November 9, 1945 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Medlin and Roberta Evans Medlin.She retired from Variety Wholesale Co. and was a member of First Congregational Christian Church as well as the Ladies Sunday School Class.She also served on many committees at the church including the Nominating Committee and the Fellowship Committee; and assisted with pastoral visitation for the church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at First Congregational Christian Church conducted by the Rev. Brett Marlowe and the Rev. Tony Rutherford.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, George E. Williams of the home; two daughters, Sandy Williams Patchkofsky of Greenville and Tonya Williams Sayball and husband Ken of Rolesville;and five grandchildren, Kaylynn Patchkofsky, Tiffany Patchkofsky, Conner Patchkofsky, Riley Sayball, and Ashlyn Sayball.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Barrett and Diann Hendly; and three brothers, Andrew Medlin, Danny Medlin, and Sam Medlin.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as pall bearers will be Graham L. Roberson, Jr., Phillip Roberson, Harold Roberson, Bill Grissom, Freddie Sanford, Chester Roberson, Marvin Roberson, Chris Medlin and Horace Finn
