HENDERSON- Mrs. Margy Lou Hicks Trado, age 69, a resident of Henderson, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Wake Medical Center.Born November 18, 1942 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Ludie E. Hicks, Jr. and Marjorie Cawthorne Hicks.Mrs. Trado retired from the Vance County School system after thirty years where she was a Data Manager for TheExceptional Childrens Program. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henderson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Beck. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by a daughter Cathy Trado Fraleigh of Wake Forest; a son, George Richard "Rick" Trado of Raleigh; three sisters Jean H. Richardson and Mary C. Hicks Granger both of Henderson and Christie H. Henry of Cary; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Rawls Mundy, Paul Winders, Michael Falkner, Mike Eaton, Jason Richardson, Jimmy Richardson, Cabe Granger, Kevin Granger, Bryan Frahm, and Puska Smith.
Arrangements are by J.M. White Funeral Home.
