Marie Williamson Adcock

-Sylvia Marie Williamson Adcock, age 76, a resident of Coble Blvd., died Monday, August 19, 2013, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on August 27, 1936 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Dorsey Williamson and Amy Hedgepeth Williamson, and was the widow of Gerald Hall Adcock. Marie was retired from Roses Stores Inc. where she worked for 32 years and was member of City Road United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 am at Sunset Gardens by Pastor Heather Harding.
She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Diane Adcock of the home. She was preceded in death by four sisters; Dorothy W. Tillotson, Myrtle W. Matthews, Evelyn W. Brame and Jean Williamson and five brothers; John T. Williamson, Millard Williamson, Carl Williamson, Wilber Williamson, and Ray Williamson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at the J. M. White Funeral Home. At other time they will be at the home of Lucy Mantas 2515 Fairway Dr.
In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to City Road United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 116, Henderson, NC27536.
