Marie Theresa "Terri" Gwinn

HENDERSON- Marie Theresa “Terri” Gwinn, 53, of Oxford Road, died Thursday, March 7, 2024 at her home. Born December 29, 1970, in Arlington Co., VA, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Busch Gwinn of Topsail Beach and Thomas Edward Gwinn Sr. of West Virginia. Terri worked at Revlon as a line supervisor for many years. She loved going to the beach and listening to Conway Twitty while cleaning. She was an amazing mother and grandmother as well as an amazing cook. Terri loved a house full of laughter, cats, and family. She never met a stranger and could always find a silver lining on cloudy days. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 16th at 2:00 PM at Satterwhite Point Shelter 3. Terri is survived by her son, Michael Gwinn; two daughters, Alycia Cohill and Amber Williams; four grandchildren Savannah Coghill, Bentley Williams, Khloie Camargo and Kenneth “KC” Williams; four brothers Thomas Edward Gwinn Jr. (Kellie) of Wake Forest, Joseph Michael Gwinn (Rebecca) of Topsail Island; Travis and David Gwinn of West Virginia and two sisters Crystal and Shannon Gwinn of West Virginia; sixteen nieces and nephews as well as three very close friends, Pam Elliott, Lisa Dickerson, and Crystal Dover. If you knew her, you knew her motherly nature. Always there with a shoulder to cry on, a meal when hungry or just to sit and listen. She was so much to so many. The family will receive friends at the home.
