Marie McFall Wells, age 78, a resident of 996 Bobbitt Road, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011.Born on September 13, 1932 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Vivian McFall and Lucy Pernell McFall.Mrs. Wells was formerly employed with Friendly Florist and was a member of Freedom Life Church Of God.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Freedom Life Church of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.Burial will follow in the Union Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter Sandra Wells-Brown of Oxford; two sons, Larry Wells of Kittrell and Michael Wells of Stacy, NC; one sister, Ann M. Harris of Laurinburg NC; three brothers, Furman McFall, Earl McFall, and Murel McFall, all of Henderson; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Wells.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at will be at her home at 996 Bobbitt Road, Kittrell, NC.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Kevin Boone, Doug Boone, Jamie Thompson, Chris Thompson, and Norman Bobbitt.
