Marilyn Gregg Lasstier

HENDERSON – Marilyn Leigh Gregg Lassiter, 65, a resident of Oakridge Avenue died Monday, October 19, 2026 at Duke University Medical Center.

Born August 20, 1961 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie Williams Gregg and Dickson Russell Gregg.

Marilyn was a member of First Baptist Church Henderson and formerly worked for Harriett and Henderson Yarns, Inc. as a secretary.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Garden of First Baptist Church Henderson by Dr. Ronald S. Cava.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert Franklin Lassiter of the home; two daughters, Jennifer L. Alessi and husband, Stephen of Odessa, Florida and Kate L. Parker and husband, Joshua of Franklinton; one sister, Karen G. Lilley of Dunn; and two grandchildren, Connor Parker and Mason Parker.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Garden. At other times they will be at the home.
