HENDERSON-Marion White Bennett, 82, a resident of 1003 Carroll Road, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at her home.Born in Vance County on February 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ed Gardner White and Blanche Thompson White.Marion was a homemaker and a retired certified nurse assistant.She was a member of Hermon United Methodist Church and attended until her health failed.
A private graveside service was held Monday, 23, 2018 at 11 am at Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Tabitha W. Pate
She is survived by her beloved children, Judy Porterfield (Marcus) and Kelly Slaughter (Kirk) all of Henderson, and Kathy Adcock (Robert) of Oxford; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren;one sister-in-law, Rebecca Beckham White of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Edwin T. White and Billy Earl White; and her sisters, Golda W. Ayscue, Dorothy W. Hoyle, and Mary W. Thompson.
