HENDERSON-Mark Branson Cooper, 50, a resident of Garden Lane, died Tuesday,
March 2, 2021 at Maria Parham Health.Born on August 18, 1970 in Alamance County, he was the son of James Grant Cooper and step-mother, Judy Edmonds Cooper of Elon and the late Rodhlia Branson Cooper.He was a former employee of Nastar Manufacturing Company.He was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church in Burlington where he drove the church van and assisted with the music of the church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Rock Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Gary Brummitt.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Brady Cooper of the home; three sons, Johnathan Martin (Amanda) of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, James "Gunner" Cooper (Haley) and Matthew G. Cooper both of the home; three brothers, Joel Chambers (Becky) of Buchanan, Virginia, Tim Chambers (Pam) of Salem, Virginia, and Shannon Smith of Burlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service at Rock Spring Baptist Church and at other times at 94 Garden Lane.
