Martha Norton Goodwin, age 95, a resident of Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehab., and a former resident of 558 Cooper Drive, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehab.Born in Camden, New Jersey on June 5, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Norton and Martha Corson Norton, and was the widow of James Attix Goodwin.She was a former Dental Assistant and LPN.Mrs. Goodwin was a member of West End Baptist Church.
No funeral services are planned.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Goodwin of Whiting, New Jersey; six grandchildren;three great grandchildren; and her son-in-law, John Harrell of Phoenix, AZ.She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Marlene N. Harrell; and eight brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America, 322 Eight Ave.7th Floor, New York, New York, 10001.
