NORLINA-Marvin Lee "Ralph" Grissom, 79, a resident of 259 Kerr Lake Cole Bridge Road, died Saturday, January 30, 2016, at his home.Born in VanceCounty on May 4, 1936, he was the son of the late Clarence Grissom and Mozelle Faucette Grissom.He was a retired auto mechanic.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. L. T. Harris.Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Warrenton.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie G. Wade of Henderson; and two brothers, Donnie Grissom of Kittrell and Ronnie Grissom of Henderson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ada G. Harris; and two brothers, Pete Grissom and Wesley Grissom.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Debbie Wade at 460 Horseshoe Bend Road, Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryant Dickerson, Charles Strother, Ricky Reavis, Edward Schuster, Eugene Taylor and Samuel Meador.
