Mary Ann Kittrell Satterwhite

Mary Ann Kittrell Satterwhite, age 82, a resident of 5710 NC Hwy 39 South, died Tuesday October 16, 2012, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Vance County on December 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Willie Arthur Kittrell and Ethel Gladys Hayes Kittrell.
She was a homemaker and member of Gillburg United Methodist Church and the Hettie Faulkner Sunday School Class.She also attended the Senior Circle at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Gillburg United Methodist Church by the Rev. Calvin Dickinson.Burial will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery
She is survived by two daughters, Trudy S. Burnette of Morehead City and Teresa S. Terry of Roxboro; a son, Bradford L. Satterwhite of Henderson; a sister, Elizabeth K. Taylor of Yorktown, VA; four brothers, Robert Lee Bobby Kittrell of Fort Meyers, FL, Dr. Ben Kittrell of Florence, SC, Frank Kittrell and Jerry Kittrell, both of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Green S.G. Satterwhite; a sister, Nellie Grey K. Ausborn; and a brother Willie Arthur Billy Kittrell.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 PM till 2:00PM at Gillburg United Methodist Church.At other times they will be at the home, 5710 NC Hwy 39 South, Henderson.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Merle Terry, Joey Snead, Ted Kittrell, Jared Burnette, Justin Burnette, Dave Brew, Travis Burnette, and Chris Gray.
Honorary pall bearers will be members of the Hettie Faulkner and Young Adult Sunday School Classes.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Gillburg United Methodist Church, 4815 NC Hwy 39 South, Henderson, NC 27537.
