Mary Anne Crews Davis

HENDERSON-Mary Anne Crews Davis, 89 of Henderson, NC passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024. Born March 8, 1935 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Ray F. Crews, Sr and Anne Powell Crews. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Henderson and the Old Bute Chapter of the DAR. A private graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson conducted by Reverend Bruce Beck and Reverend George Williams. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves behind many loving and caring memories. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Herman A. Davis, Jr; two daughters, Sara Davis of Henderson; Suzanne Davis Duncan (Kyle) of Sarasota, Florida; a son, Herman A. “Woody” Davis, III (Valerie) of Henderson, a grandson, Robert E. Bowen, Jr (Samantha) of Oxford, NC; and two great granddaughters, Adalyn Grace Bowen and Eva Williamson of Oxford, NC Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Ray F. Crews, Jr and William N. Crews, Sr In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Music Fund P.O. Box 726 Henderson, NC 27536. The family kindly requests no visitors at the home at this time.
