Mary Anne Langston Wilson

WANCHESE- Mary Anne Langston Wilson, 92, formerly of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at a Peak Nursing and Rehab in Nags Head. Born in Vance County on December 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Luna Bartholomew Langston and John Hinton Langston. Anne was retired from the City of Rocky Mount where she worked in the lab at the waste water treatment plant and was a member of First United Methodist Church Rocky Mount. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson by Rev. George Williams. Anne is survived by three sons, Roland Wilson, Jr. of Wilmington, Bill Wilson (Lynn) of Wanchese, and Ken Wilson of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Karen Spencer (Cliff), Leigh Ann Smith (Hunter) and Rodney Wilson (Leah); and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
