Mary Pendergrass Brame

HENDERSON-Mary Speed Pendergrass Brame, 84, a resident of 20 Medical Court, died on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Warren County on July 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee Pendergrass and Minnie Coley Pendergrass.Mary was a homemaker and a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in sunset Gardens.
She is survived by one grandson, Zack Brame (Tiffany) of Bullock; three great grandsons, McKinley Brame, William Brame, and Beaux Brame; a foster child, Stacey Paschall; three sisters, Joyce P. Stone of Henderson, Peggy P. Drewer of Eastern Shore, Virginia; and Nancy P. Bartolo of Swea City, Iowa; two brothers, John Pendergrass of Henderson and Bennie Pendergrass of Creedmoor; many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert
Brame; her son, Tommy Brame; one sister, Betty P. Tart; two brothers, Jessie
Thomas J. T,. Pendergrass and Charles Joe Pendergrass; her niece and nephews,
Miranda, Eric, and Ricky and her dear friend and companion, Frank Ayscue.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 am at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.At other times they will be at the home of Joyce Stone at 950 Cedar Cove Road, Henderson, NC27537.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the South Henderson Pentecostal
Church Building Fund, 904 Americal Road, Henderson, NC27537.
