HENDERSON-Mary Edith Robbins Cleaton, 93, a resident of 325 Vincent-Hoyle Road, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on July 12, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James Waddell Robbins, Sr. and Annie Jackson Jarrells Robbins, and was the widow of Milo Thomas "M.T" Cleaton, Jr..
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019at 2 PMat the Salvation Army by Captain Rick Langley.
She is survived by one daughter, Priscilla Robbins Thomas of Murfreesboro, NC; her son-in-law, Ray Champion of Henderson; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren;two great great grandchildren; and her devoted caregiver, Barbara Champion. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Rose Cleaton Champion; and one son, Tommy "Chin" Cleaton.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1:00 until 2 Pm at the Salvation Army.At other times they will be at the home.
