GARNER-Mary Dolgy Edwards, age 95, a former resident of Henderson, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner.Mrs. Edwards was born on May 3, 1923 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Issac Dolgy and Anna Wozniak Dolgy.Mrs. Edwards was the former owner and operator of the North Carolina License Plate Agency when it was onRaleigh Road and was a member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Sunset Gardens by Ed Morris.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Anna Rice of Clayton; two sons, Alan E. Edwards of Black Mountain, NC and Greg N. Edwards of Fort Lauderdale, FL; ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s memory to The Laurels of Forest Glenn, 1101 Hartwell Street, Garner, NC27529.
