Born on June 24, 1942 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Deans and Arlene Williams Deans.Mrs. Haskins was formerly the co-owner and operator of Williamsboro Grocery.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Howard Haskins of the home; one daughter, Mary Teresa Haskins Talley and husband, Connie of Casa Grande, AZ; five sons, Philip Howard Haskins, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Norlina, Michael Andrew Haskins and wife, Tina and Jeffrey Scott Haskins and wife, Jannette all of Surprise, AZ, Mitchell Keith Haskins and wife, Sharon of Henderson, and Gerald Shawn Haskins and wife, Bobbie of Winnabow; one brother, Danny Wayne Riley and wife, Barbara of Epson; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 pm prior to the service on Monday at J. M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Philip Haskins, Jr., Mitchell Haskins, Gerald Haskins, Jeffrey Haskins, Mitchell Haskins, Jr. and Ryan Haskins.
