Mary Pulley Grissom

HENDERSON-Mary Pulley Grissom, age 73, a resident of Henderson, died Tuesday, March 07, 2017, at Maria Parham Health.Born on July 3, 1943 in Ft. Myers, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Walter Harold Pulley, Sr. and Vera Montgomery Pulley, and was the widow of Calvin Fenner Grissom.Mary was retired from the Henderson Family YMCA.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tim Burgess.Burial will follow in the Oakridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathie G. Adcock (Keith) of Henderson and Teri G. Kosterman (Tim) of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Morgan Adcock, Chandler Kosterman and Sophie Kosterman; and one brother, Donald M. Pulley.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Grissom: and one son, Jonathan Grissom.; two brothers, Walter Harold Pulley, Jr. and David Warren Pulley.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 10 until 11 am at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Kathie and Keith Adcock at 1068 Stewart Farm Road.
Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Pulley, Chip Wells, Jacob Wells, Sam Wells, Shane Pulley, Tony Pulley, Earl Young and Scott Young.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Henderson Family YMCA Ryan Davis
