HENDERSON-Mary Clark McFaddin, age 73, a former resident of Courtyard Apartments, died Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehab.Born on March 11, 1940 in Botetourt Co., Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Admiral Dewey Clark and Ruby Ayers Farrow.She was a retired nursing assistant and a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.Funeral services will be held Tuesday night at 7:30 PM in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Robert Greene and the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will be in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens in Lexington, Virginia.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna B. Gupton of Kittrell; one son, Dean McFaddin and wife, Linda of Henderson; three sisters, Joyce Maynard of Henderson, Barbara Miller of Lexington, Virginia, and Helen Keith of Buchanan, Virginia; one brother, Kenneth Farrow of Staunton, Virginia; four grandchildren, Nicki Null Darnell and husband, Matthew; Dean McFaddin, Jr. and wife, Meredith, Guy McFaddin, and Heather McFaddin; and two great grandchildren, Amber Null and Autumn Null.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, William D. Farrow; her husband, Guy Wimfred McFaddin; one sister, Margie Goodbar; one brother, Elburn Farrow; and her son-in-law, Tommy Gupton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night prior to service from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Donna Gupton at 2295 Egypt Mountain Road, Kittrell and Dean and Linda McFaddin at 3090 N. Lynnbank Road, Henderson.
