Mary Ruth Smith Hissong

Mary Ruth Smith Hissong, age 68, a resident of 140 Garden Walk, died Wednesday, May 09, 2012, at Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehab Center. Born in Chatham County on May 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Allen Smith and Mary Frances Ivey Smith.She was a retired Paralegal for the former Zollicoffer and Zollicoffer Law Firm.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Marshall Neathery.
She is survived by two daughters, Teen H. Floyd and Kim H. Hunt of Henderson; two sons, Jeff Hissong of Wake Forest and Bill Hissong of Henderson; one sister, Peggy S. Ellington of Siler City, NC ; one brother, Al Smith of Siler City, NC; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of Teen Floyd at 2001 Walter Bowen Road.
