Mary Susan Vann Robinson

HENDERSON- Mary Susan “Sue” Vann Robinson, 77 of Townsville, NC passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Born October 5, 1946 in Sampson, County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Burgess Vann and Robert Wells “R.W.” Vann. Sue enjoyed her family, her pets, and her life at the lake whether it was Kerr Lake, as a teenager and adult or White Lake where she spent much of her youth. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Larry Wayne Robinson, Sr.; her son, Larry Wayne Robinson, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Kittrell; and daughter, Suzanne Knott and husband C.F of Oxford; and her grandson, Joseph Knott. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret V. Anderson and her husband, Jim formerly of Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Johnny Yount. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. at J. M. White Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory can be made to the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society, 165 US Hwy. 158 Bypass, Henderson, NC 27537.
