Matthew Ryan Darnell

Matthew Ryan Darnell, 37, a resident of Boddie Street, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at his home. Born on July 4, 1985 in Durham County, he was the son of Ricky Gary Darnell and Joan Allgood Rainey of Henderson. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at Victory Baptist Church at 7:00 PM by the Rev. Ricky Easter. The family will receive friends following the service at Victory Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Amber Null and Autumn Null of Henderson; one son, Liam Darnell of Henderson; one sister, Wendy Carter (David) of Henderson; one brother, Donnie Allgood (Gina) of Henderson; one niece Haley Carter; and one nephew, Hunter Allgood (Alyssa). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Matthew R. Darnell funeral fund c/o M. White Funeral, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
