HENDERSON-Michel Ray Ligon, age 64, a resident of 411 S. Lynnbank Road, died Friday, August 8, 2014, at his home.Born on January 31, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Detmar Ligon and Irma Lee Gregory Ligon Montgomery.Michael was a Veteran of the US Army serving three tours of duty in Vietnam.He was a former employee of Lowes Home Improvements.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday night at 6:30 PM at Raleigh Road Baptist Church by Dr. Larry Purcell.
He is survived by his step-father, James Walter Montgomery of the home; two brothers, Steven Carl Ligon and wife, Susan of Cincinnati, Ohio and Raymond Lee Ligon and girl friend, Mary Ann Boshart of Durham; and one sister, Kathleen Ann Ligon of Cincinnati, Ohio.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Romona Lee Ligon; and one brother, David Lee Ligon.
