Michael Anthony Parrish

HENDERSON- Michael Anthony Parrish, 64, of Dabney Road, died Thursday, November 13, 2025 at his home. Born October 14, 1961 in Vance County, he was the son of Betty Satterwhite Parrish and the Thurston Edward Parrish. Sr., both of Henderson. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Grace Baptist Church as a child.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Calvin Mills. Burial will follow at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his wife, Tammy Ivey Parrish of Henderson; five daughters, Ginger Parrish, Cassie Parrish, Katie Parrish, Michaela Klein and Jada Parrish; his son, Jesse Parrish; his step-son, Peyton Ray; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mark Parrish and Chuck Parrish and wife, Donna; and two sisters, Wendy Harris and Lynn Manning.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Emberleigh Parrish; and a step-daughter, Amber Ivey.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday at J.M. White Funeral Home beginning at 12:30 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene Parrish, Ricky Travis, Alan Reid, Johnny Parrish, Chuckie Burgess and Jerry Parrish, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to J.M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
