Michael Gordon Reams, 60, a resident of 15781 NC 39 N died Friday, March 20, 2020.Born on March 7, 1960 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Henry A. "H.A." Reams and Sallie Hicks Reams, and was the widower of Melinda Bryum Reams.He was employed with Oxford Car and Truck and was a member of the Oxford Masonic Lodge.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by two daughters, Katlyn Reams and fiance , Henry Raynor of Henderson and Ashlyn Reams and fiance, Cameron Gagne of Dudley; two sons, Jason Matthews and wife, Nathalia of Raleigh, and Matthew Reams of Henderson; his father-in-law, William T. Matthews of Henderson; and two grandchildren, Kinsly Matthews and Alec Gagne.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Merna Matthews.
