Michael Scott Riggan

HENDERSON- Michael Scott Riggan, 54, of Satterwhite Point Lane, died Sunday, March 3, 2024. Born September 25, 1969 in Vance County, he was the son of Mattie Fuller Riggan of Henderson and the late Ollie Thomas Riggan, Jr. Michael was employed with Carolina Quality Rentals. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Ernest Bowes. In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by a daughter, Rebekah Speed and husband, Jeremy of Selma; a grandson, Levi Trunick; two sisters, Bonnie Henderson and Lisa Flowers; an uncle, Earl Riggan and fiancée, Debbie Deal; and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of his mother, 1426 Reservoir Street, Henderson, NC 27536.
