HENDERSON- Michael Alan Williamson, 46, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on January 9, 1974, he was the son of Donald Wayne Williamson, Sr. of Henderson and the late Deborah K. Patterson Williamson.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus regulations, a funeral service for the family will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Frank Sossamon and Pastor Matthew Hirt.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to his father he is survived by a brother, Donald Wayne Williamson, Jr. (Vanessa) of St. Petersburg, FL; a nephew, Raymond Williamson; two nieces, Danielle Kay Williamson and Faith Ann Williamson; three aunts, Joann Williamson of Henderson, Shirley Perkinson (Darrell) of Henderson and Peggy Forsythe of Woodlawn, TN; five uncles, Henry Williamson, Earl Williamson, Alton Patterson (Carolyn), Tommy Patterson and Arthur Hilliard; and many cousins.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nathan Patterson and Golden Patterson; his paternal grandparents, Hill Williamson and Zelma Williamson; five aunts, Betty Jean Pegram, Cora Hillard, Ruby Switzer, Ola Mae Williamson and Mary Ann Williamson; and an uncle, James Wheeler "Dick" Pegram.
The family will receive friends at the home of Earl and Joann Williamson, 1859 S. Clearview Drive, Henderson, NC 27537.
