HENDERSON- Billy Michael Mike Wilder, 59, of 815 Wakefield Ave. Ext., died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Duke University Medical Center.Born in Vance County on March 2, 1958 he was the son of the late Billy Furman Wilder and Edna Thompson Wilder.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Burgess.
He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Wilder of Henderson, Lindsey W. Barton (Neil) of Boone, and Ashley W. Long (Bryant) of Henderson; a son, Tucker Wilder (Jordan) of Henderson; ten grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis Wilder (Cecelia) of Oxford.
The family will receive friends following the service at New Sandy Creek on Monday and at other times they will be at the home of Dennis and Cecelia Wilder, 4025 Shady Brook Dr., Kittrell, NC, 27544.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Mike Wilder Memorial Fund, C/O J.M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
