Monisha "Nish" Dianne Roberson

HENDERSON- Monisha “Nish” Dianne Egerton Roberson, 44, of Parker Lane, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Duke University Hospital. Born May 29, 1978 in Wake County, she was the daughter of Dianne Perkinson Lovell of Raleigh and William Jeffery Egerton of Norlina. Nish was a graduate of Millbrook High School where she was an active athlete, lettering in five different sports. She also graduated from Meredith College where she was a member of the soccer team. In 2001, Nish competed in the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Marathon. She was a member of The Church of The Holy Innocents and attended Clearview Church. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. officiated by The Rev. Donald A. Lowery and Dr. Abidan Shah at the crosses at the Boyd Family Farm, 560 Vance Academy Road, Henderson, NC 27537. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael Thomas Roberson, Jr. of the home; her twins, Michael Thomas Roberson, III and Abigail Reynolds Roberson of the home; her sister, Lauren Leigh Lovell Dellinger and husband, Cody of Mooresville; two brothers, William Zachery Egerton of Henderson, Travis Lauren Egerton of Durham; her step-mother, Leslie Petersen Egerton of Norlina; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Annette Chappell Roberson and Michael Thomas “Tommy” Roberson, Sr.; and her brother-in-law, Hunter Roberson and wife, Charlie of Henderson; and her sister-in-law, Ellen Leroy and husband, David of Emerald Isle. The family will receive friends following the service on Monday in the museum at the Boyd Family Farm and at other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society, 165 US Hwy 158 Bypass Henderson, NC 27537.
