OXFORD- Nancy Hendricks Dover, 68, of Harts Cross Road, died Friday, January 31, 2020 at her home.Born in Vance County on December 17, 1951 she was the daughter of Lessie Brame Hendricks of Henderson and the late Herbert Hendricks.Nancy was retired from Granville County Department of Social Services where she worked as a case worker and was a member of Clearview Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Clearview Church, conducted by Rev. Abidan Shah.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to her mother, Nancy is survived by three daughters, Regina D. Hicks and husband Sammy of Henderson, Teresa Dover of Knightdale, and Crystal D. Abuamra and husband Mohammed of Durham; one son, Michael Dover of Mooresville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Shelia McCall of Henderson; two brothers, Jerry Hendricks and Larry Hendricks, both of Henderson; and her "chosen" son, Daniel Pinit.
Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Pinit, Sammy Hicks, Jr., Robert Hicks, Larry Champion, Jr., Sterling Terry and Mark McCall.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Regina and Sammy Hicks, 185 Gun Club Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
