Nancy Lawrence Ennis

HAMPSTEAD-Nancy Lawrence Ennis, age 49, a resident of 381 Beckys Creek Road, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.Born in Vance County on August 2, 1962, she was the daughter of Charles and Gwendolyn Roberson Lawrence of Henderson.Ms. Ennis was an assistant manager at Dollar General and a member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church.
Visitation and memorial services will be held Sunday evening beginning at 7:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.The memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Malarie Clayborne Edwards and husband Derick of Kittrell; a son, Michael Overton, II and wife Lindsey of Kittrell; five grandchildren, Madison, Alyssa, Kassidy, Skyler, and Jayce; her fiance Douglas Clayton of the home; a brother, Bert Lawrence of Henderson; and a sister, Michelle Watkins of Henderson.
In addition to receiving friends during the visitation, the family will also be at the home of Malarie and Derick Edwards, 1318 Bobbitt Road, Kittrell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vance County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1552, Henderson, NC 27536.
