Nancy Gail Dickerson Franklin

Henderson-Nancy Gail Dickerson Franklin, age 61, a resident of 114 Evans Road, died Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.Born in Warren County on January 23, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Mary Alice Arrington Dickerson and Sidney Aubrey Dickerson.She was a medically retired from Revlon, and was a member of Harriett Baptist Church and attended Clearview Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Will Breedlove.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Shawn Franklin and wife Christina of Henderson; one sister, Carolyn D. Smith of Henderson; and two brothers, Billy Dickerson of Henderson and Sidney Fuzzy Dickerson of Rocky Mount. She was preceded in death by one brother, Aubrey Everette Dickerson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at her home at 114 Evans Road, off Ruin Creek Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Travis Rivers, Andy Dickerson, David Orr, Bryant Lee Carey and Dillon Carey.
