KITTRELL-Nancy Vaughan Murray, age 82, a resident of 45 Bristol Meadows Road, died Thursday, April 13, 2017, at her home.Born in Vance County on August 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. Vaughan and Rachel Blake Vaughan Ellis.
Mrs. Murray was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm at Victory Baptist Church by the Rev. Ricky Easter.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband Jack Cullom Murray of the home; one brother, Jackie Ellis (Bonnie) of Epsom; and a very special friend, Leigh Ann Gleason of Kittrell.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Albert J. Ellis; one daughter, Shannon Renee Murray; and one brother, Kenneth B. Ellis, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Monday prior to the service from 12:30 until 2 pm at Victory BaptistChurch.At other times they will be at the home at 45 Bristol Meadows Road, off Bobbitt Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Jeremy Gleason, Jay Ellis, Spencer Ellis, Jackson Ellis, and Preston Ellis.
