HENDERSON-Naomi Jobe Short, age 67, a resident of 901 Crozier Street, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on June 14, 1944 in Nash County, she was the daughter of the late John Jobe and Lucy Mabry Jobe.Mrs. Short was a former employee of Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. and was a member of Freedom Life Church Of God.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at Freedom Life Church Of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde T. Bud Short of the home; two sons, Alan Joyner and Ronnie Joyner both of Henderson; one sister, Lois Cruz of Henderson; and one brother, Donald Jobe. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Lynn Joyner; one sister, Geneva Ayscue; and two brothers, James Crocker and John Jobe, Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at Freedom Life Church Of God.At other times they will be at the home at 901 Crozier Street.
