HENDERSON- Nellie Grey Dunn Rogers, 85, of Lynne Ave., died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at her home.Born in Vance County on October 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Timothy Dunn and Edith Satterwhite Dunn.Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church.She served the church as choir director and as church pianist.She was also a member of the Seniors Club and served as President.
A private graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 3:00 pm at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Burgess.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Samuel Richard Rogers of the home; her daughter, Laura Rogers Parham and husband, James of Henderson; two sons, Timothy Eugene Rogers and wife, Kathy of Oxford and Richard Marc Rogers and wife, Mary of Henderson; and two grandsons, Joshua Timothy Rogers and Samuel James Parham.
The family will receive guests at the home.
