NEWMAN ROBERSON, JR. HENDERSON - Newman Roberson, Jr., 76, of Hoyletown Road, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home. Born, January 8, 1949, in Vance County, he was the son of the late Margaret Short Roberson and Newman Roberson. Newman worked for the City of Henderson and was a tobacco farmer. Newman was a member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Calvin Mills. Burial will follow in New Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Faucette Roberson, of the home; two daughters, Sandra Roberson Cervantes and Teresa Roberson Bullock, both of Henderson; his son Keith W. Roberson (Stephanie) of Henderson; ten grandchildren, Tony Roberson; Charles and Brittany Heath; Jacqueline, Ana, Jobani, Alejandro Cervantes; Amber Roman; Bradley Bullock and Monica Benning; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Roberson Faucette and Virginia Roberson Thomas; a brother, Melvin Roberson; a grandson, Kenneth Roberson; a son-in-law, Barney Bullock and a great-granddaughter, Avah Bullock. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday beginning at 1:00 P.M. and at other times at the home. Serving as pallbearers will be Alejandro Cervantes, Angel Cervantes, Tony Roberson, Charles Heath, Ronnie Faucette and Hunter Faucette. Online condolences may be made at www.jmwhitefuneralhome.com.
