Nita Parker Brady

HENDERSON-Nita Jean Parker Brady, 65, a resident of the Townsville community, died Thursday, December 10, 2020, at her home.
Born in Durham, she was the daughter of the late George E. Parker and Alma Sharron Parker Snyder.She attended Rock Spring Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rock Spring Baptist Church (171 Rock Spring Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537) by Rev. Gary Brummitt.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Hugh Brady, Jr. of the home; one son, Steven and Nancy Parker of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; five daughters, Sharon and Terry Yarborough of Mebane, Crystal and Chris Mentlewski of Wake Forest, Michelle and JD Swann of Liberty, Nicole and Andy Braxton of Elon, and Ashley and Travis Kratky of Yukon, Oklahoma; two brothers, Vance Parker of Roxboro and Roger Parker of Burlington; fourteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Wendy Benfield.
The family will receive friends following the service at Rock Spring and at other times they will be at the home at 122 Garden Lane.
Everyone attending is asked to wear appropriate face coverings and observe social distance.
