Norma Short Creech

KITTRELL- Norma Darlene Short Creech, 73, of Long Creek Court, died Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her home. Born February 17, 1951 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Hicks Short Norris and William Henry Short and was the widow of Rubin Arch Creech, Jr. She retired from Revlon where she was an assembler. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Tim Short. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Creech is survived by three daughters, Brandy Creech Williamson and husband, Justen of Henderson, Brooke Creech of Kenly and Cindy Creech Murphy of Kittrell; two sons, Rodney Creech and Wayne Creech both of Henderson; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Ann Peoples of Henderson. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lilly Henderson and Isabella Woolard; and two brothers, Wayne Short and Ronnie Short. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home; and at other times at the home.
