Norman Clark Moses

HENDERSON-Norman Clark "Butch" Moses, 66, a resident of Henderson, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.Born on January 22, 1952 in Durham, he was the son of Beulah Turner Clark of Kitty Hawk and the late Clemmie Singleton Moses.Butch proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era, and was a retired Plans Reviewer for the Town of Wake Forest.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bobby Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Daniel Moses of the home; one sister, Gloria Moses Emory of Kitty Hawk; two nieces Miriam Elise "Mimi" Reiser of the home; and Julie Elizabeth Emory of Kitty Hawk; one great niece, Natalie Rose Emory; and one great nephew, Evan Michael Emory both of Kitty Hawk.The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until 8 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society, 165 US Hwy. 158 By-Pass, Henderson, NC27537.
