Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Hill Thomas Edwards and Lillian Jackson Edwards.She was an employee of Moody Brothers Jewelry Store and was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Cam Ford and the Rev. Tom Eldridge. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by three sons, Wilton Moody (Susan) of Raleigh, Larry Moody (Lynette) of Wilson, and Wayne Moody (Lynn) of Landis; six grandchildren, Will Moody (Annie),
Seth Moody (Meredith) Meredith Heffner (Christopher) Caroline Moody, Brad Moody,and Hunter Moody; one great granddaughter, Sophie Moody; two sisters, Sylvia E. Goss of Dexter and Mary E. Wynne of Henderson; and two brothers, B. Frank Edwards of Middleburg and Joseph Hill Edwards of Henderson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Wilton Moody, Sr.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 903 Roanoke Avenue.
Serving as active pall bearers will be her grandchildren, Will Moody, Seth Moody,
Meredith Heffner, Caroline Moody, Brad Moody, Hunter Moody and her nephews, Randy Wynne and Darrell Wynne.

The family would like to thank Charles Boyd, Inc. for supplying the red cars, which is her favorite color, that the family will be riding in.
